Autodesk Sign-In and Custom Integration Setup

How Barvinca connects to your Autodesk identity and customer Autodesk Forma or BIM 360 hub.

3-Legged OAuth (User Authentication)

Sign in with Autodesk OAuth; Barvinca has no separate password. Sign-in uses the Autodesk authorization-code flow with PKCE (3-legged authorization). The user session token is encrypted and retained server-side.

The current Marketplace launch keeps this user sign-in context distinct from Barvinca's managed application authorization for Bulk User Manager.

Your session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. You'll be redirected to sign in again if it expires.

2-Legged OAuth (App Authentication)

For hub-level administration, Barvinca's managed APS application uses separate server-side client-credentials authorization (2-legged). Listing users and running admin operations use that context after a Hub Admin authorizes its Client ID as a Custom Integration.

For the practical first-run checklist, use the Setup Guide.

To set this up:

Do not create a customer APS app or provide a Client Secret for normal Marketplace setup. Barvinca keeps its app secret server-side.
